Handel's Messiah — Choral Concert

On Saturday, December 20 at 7:30 PM, The Saint Francis Cathedral Choir and Orchestra will give their annual presentation of George Frederik Handel’s timeless oratorio, Messiah. Under the baton of Christopher M. C. Deibert, conductor, the Advent/Christmas portion of this work will be performed in its entirety, along with excerpts from the second and third parts. Don’t miss this delightful candlelit concert, set in beautiful Gothic Revival architectural surroundings. A wine and cheese reception will follow the concert.

NATIONAL PRAYER VIGIL FOR LIFE: JANUARY 22-23, 2026
The National Prayer Vigil for Life will be held from Thursday afternoon, January 22, through Friday morning, January 23, 2026, with various prayer events taking place at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, DC.
